The signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787, by the Founding Fathers is one of the most important and influential events in American history, establishing the many rights and freedoms that “We the People” enjoy today.
Constitution Day is Tuesday September 17, 2013 and will be recognized on our campus here at Mitchell. The LRC will display copies of the Constitution, a poster about Constitution Day and a display of library books about the Constitution. Additionally, pocket size copies of the Constitution will be available.
Please take time to visit the display.

“I love science, and it pains me to think that so many are terrified of the subject or feel that choosing science means you cannot also choose compassion, or the arts, or be awed by nature. Science is not meant to cure us of mystery, but to reinvent and reinvigorate it.”
~ Robert Sapolsky
